Trek Itinerary of Mandani Valley Trek
Day 1: Arrive in Ransi
Ransi is an idyllic village nestled within the Uttarkashi district of Garhwal in Uttarakhand, an 8-hour journey away. If you book transportation through us, our vehicles will pick you up from Dehradun ISBT at 7 am and head towards Ransi via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Ukhimath, with overnight accommodations arranged in local guesthouses or hotels along the way.
Day 2: Ransi to Saniyara
Beginning our journey from Ransi today, we will journey through beautiful meadows before arriving at Saniyara campsite for an overnight camping stay in tents.
Day 3: Saniyara to Paturi
Today we continue our trek towards Paturi campsite along an intricate and challenging trek, passing through forests, grassy areas and winding rivers.
Day 4: Paturi to Thouli camp via Thouli top
After an exhilarating day of trekking, you’ll reach the Thouli campsite by following the challenging Thouli top trek, offering stunning views of majestic Himalayan peaks in the distance. Spend your night camping out.
Day 5: Thouli camp to Dagla Bugyal via Dwara Pass
As we traverse the Dwara pass at 4150 meters and head toward Dagla Bugyal, where we will camp out for the night, our goal will be to pass over Dwara Pass, which stands at 4150 meters, and reach Dagla Bugyal before dark.
Day 6: Dagla Bugyal to Mandani Valley via Dubra Top.
Today we will travel to Mandani Valley in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand within Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, home of rare plants, animals and birds that will delight nature enthusiasts. Once we arrive at our campsite late afternoon, we can spend the remainder of our day discovering its charm before camping overnight.
Day 7: Mandani Valley to Yembuk Col Base Camp
Today we will trek to Yembuk Col Base Camp through moraines and steep treks with boulder sections, camping in tents for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Yembuk Col Base Camp to Mahapanth Col Base Camp via Yembuk Col and Bishali Col
Today will be our most demanding trek yet as we make our way towards Mahapanth Col, crossing both Yembuk Col and Bishali Col – two arduous pass points with challenging ascents amidst breathtaking mountain peaks and amazing landscape. Camping will be our accommodations tonight.
Day 9: Mahapanth Col Base Camp to Kedranath (3380 m) via Mahapanth Col
Today, we will conquer the rugged terrain of Mahapanth Col, traversing its treacherous rocks and icy patches to reach the Kedarnath pilgrimage site, where we will spend the night.
Day 10: Kedarnath to Gaurikund
As we follow a well-marked 14km trek towards Gaurikund village, where we will spend the night in a guest house, our journey will come to an end.
Day 11: Depart from Gaurikund
Journey by vehicle to Dehradun and enjoy breathtaking views of the River Ganges along our route. Once in Dehradun, we’ll hop aboard an overnight bus back to Delhi.

How To Reach Mandani Valley Trek
By Air: Ukhimath’s nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun (approximately 220km away), located approximately 220-250 kilometres away from Ukhimath.
By Train: For those traveling by rail, Haridwar or Rishikesh is the closest railhead. From there, take a drive toward Ukhimath.
By road: From Ristreksh, buses or shared taxis can be found heading toward Guptkashi, Ukhimath, or Sonprayag.
