Trekup India is happy to share that the FIRST Rupin Pass Trek of the season 2025 was completed with a resounding victory on the 23rd of May 2025. The trek was organized and led by Trekup India. The high-altitude Himalayan challenge tested each trekker’s ability, strength, and endurance. What an amazing experience!

A Journey Through Majestic Landscapes of Rupin Pass

The Rupin Pass trek goes through some of Himachal Pradesh’s most breathtaking and remote terrains, from the charming towns in Jiskoon as well as Jakha to the beautiful meadows of Sarwas as well as Dhanderas Thatch, the iconic Upper Waterfall campsite, the exciting Rupin Pass top before dropping down into Rontigad as well as Sangla. Every day of the trek was filled with breathtaking landscapes, tranquil campsites, as well as a new satisfaction.

Each day began with a morning warm-up for the group with the trek leader. These activities helped trekkers get ready mentally and physically for the trek to come. After dinner, they were treated to stretching exercises to cool down , which helped with the recovery of muscles and helping prevent soreness. It was an initiative which was greatly appreciated by trekkers.

Health & Safety: Trekup India Utmost Priority

Trekup India places Safety over all else every day, so each morning starts by having periodic health checkups for monitoring blood oxygen levels, as well as pulse rate and general health. Our trekkers were safe knowing that our staff was properly equipped and well-trained to respond to emergencies.

The comprehensive safety measures we took included: Extensive safety precautions, including:

  • Medical kits for high altitude
  • Portable oxygen cylinders
  • Walkie-Talkie communication devices in remote zones
  • Recce of routes and preparation for weather

We’re pleased to say that the participants were fit throughout the entire expedition.

Meals Worth Remembering in Remote High Himalayas

From hot and steaming parathas in the early morning and healthy dinner choices Our skilled mountain chef as well as staff in the kitchen ensured that each dinner was an enjoyable experience. Our trekkers were particularly fond of their regional flavors and nutritious soups that boosted the mood and motivation.

Thrills on the Trail: River Crossing at Upper Waterfall

The most exciting moment is the crossing of the river on the way to Upper Waterfall. Upper Waterfall campsite and crossing Rupin Pass. Safely guided by the Trekup India technical team, the heart-pounding experience added an extra amount of excitement and offered the trekkers an authentic experience of Himalayan adventures.

The Saving of the Trail Mission: "Take Only Memories and Leave Only Footprints”

The trekkers were incredibly impressed by the Save the Trail” initiative, which was created by Trekup India to promote ethical trekking. The entire process ranged from bringing back any biodegradable trash to teaching both trekkers and locals alike the importance of being environmentally conscious, this initiative was a huge hit with everyone. Every participant pledged to safeguard and conserve the Himalayas to future trekkers.
