Kedarkantha in Western Garhwal is one of the premier treks during winter months, making for an exceptional adventure experience. While accessible year-round, winter trekking season brings out more people. Additionally, this trek stands out as one of the few that allows novice trekkers to experience what snow trekking feels like; many areas are coated in thick layers of white that makes this an idyllic winter escape and offers great peak summiting potential within short amounts of time.

Brahmatal Trek

Brahmatal Trek is one of the Himalayas' most breathtaking locations for an unforgettable trek, and experienced trekkers favor it immensely. As soon as one begins their trek towards bekaltal camp site, its beauty becomes apparent and has many visitors returning year after year after it closed to Roopkund Trek some years ago. From its summit it offers spectacular panoramic views of both Trishul (7120m) and Nanda Ghunti (6309) mountains; though beginners shouldn't expect too many difficulties; beginner trekkers should consider being prepared at least for two months beforehand.
