Miyar Valley Trek

Miyar Valley lies in the remote western corner of Lahul and Spiti in Himachal Pradesh. The valley is filled with flowers during the monsoon season, and this s-shaped valley is overwhelming with the presence of quaint villages among the flowers’ beds. Here at the Miyar glacier lie seven beautiful icy crystal-clear lakes, considered spiritual by Buddhists. There is also a small monastery in Urgos, which gives a glimpse of culture. Here, you will also see many unclimbed mountain peaks covered in snow. Miyar Valley is also believed to host various medicinal plants and herbs. Trekking in the valley of Nubra passes through Zanskar, the landscape of which varies from extremely narrow valleys to vast open plains.
