The best time to do the Har Ki Doon trek is in the after winter, from last week of march, when temperatures are low and the snow is melting. In fact, you can only do the trek during the dry season. However, the snow is a big factor, so you should avoid the trek during monsoon season. It is best to visit the area between March to June and September to Dec 1 st week, when temperatures are the lowest.
